Introduction to Horsemanship

This full-day horsemanship course provides a ground-based introduction to horses and equestrian practice. Participants will learn essential horse care, stable etiquette, grooming, safe handling, leading horses, and basic understanding of horse behaviour. The course also covers bridle and saddle knowledge, welfare, and safety principles.
The day includes an introduction to Mamluk archery heritage and a supervised “have-a-go” archery session. No riding is involved. Refreshments are included, and a certificate of completion is awarded at the end of the course.
